Banner and Cascade Web Forms went down at approximately 4:00 PM this afternoon. Technology Services is aware of the disruption and will restore service as soon as possible.
[Complete] Production Maintenance Window 5/23/10 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Updated 5/23/2010 at 3:58 PM: All services are now back online, including password synchronization.
Updated 5/23/2010 at 3:15 PM: Currently all applications are available again, but desktop and email password changes are not currently syncing to Cascade; we expect this issue to be resolved by 5:00 PM.
The next production maintenance window is Sunday, May 23, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
This month some database applications will be unavailable during the outage window including Cascade and Banner. All other services will remain available throughout the maintenance window.
[Resolved] Network Service Issue 5/10/10
A network service issue impacted some campus work stations around 2:30 PM on 5/10/2010. Service to all work stations was restored by 3:30 PM.
Update on 4/29/10 Power Outage
Following the major power outage experienced on campus yesterday, all key computing services were restored by 10:00 PM last night.

[Resolved] Unable to Receive E-mail in Entourage (Mac)
Some Mac OS users reported problems sending and receiving e-mail in Entourage between Friday evening, May 23 and Monday afternoon, May 26, 2010. This problem has been resolved. All mail sent and received during this period was queued and will be delivered normally.

[Resolved] K-20 Internet Connection Down Briefly
The University’s K-20 Internet connection went down from about 2:20 to 2:35 PM, due to a malfunction in one of the firewall interfaces. the problem was resolved immediately.

[Resolved] Webmail Down 3/28/09
Webmail is down due to some network problems. We are working on the issue and hope to be back up by Noon. The underlying Exchange infrastructure is not affected, so email through Outlook is working fine.
The source of the problem was found and corrected at about 11:45 AM
[Completed] Short Planned Network Outage 3/28/09
As part of the monthly maintenance this morning, updates to the university’s core router were applied. This resulted in a short campuswide network outage (all services) at about 8:30 AM. This was expected, and the outage was about 3 minutes. Network service was restored as expected, and this phase of the maintenance is now complete.
Maintenance will now continue with database systems.

The next production maintenance window is on Sunday, March 28th, from 8:00 AM to noon.
From 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM all services may be off-line intermittently due to network upgrades, including:
