REASON FOR IMPACT: The network / phone system will be taken offline in Thomas Hall to replace a faulty battery backup system that partially failed earlier this week.

REASON FOR IMPACT: Customers experienced issues logging in to PeopleSoft Campus due to database contention that resolved itself. Technology Services will continue to monitor the system.

PeopleSoft Refreshes: Planned Maintenance

Thursday, November 29 @ 6 a.m. – Friday, November 30 @ 5 p.m.

 

SYSTEMS IMPACTED:  

·       DEV Refreshes:

o   Impact: The following PeopleSoft DEV environments will be unavailable [PA91DEV, CS92DEV, FN92DEV, HR92DEV]

o   Duration: Thursday, November 29th all day

·       TST Refreshes:

o   Impact: All PeopleSoft TST environments will be unavailable [PA91TST, CS92TST, FN92TST, HR92TST]

o   Duration: Friday, November 30th all day

 

REASON FOR IMPACT: Refreshing our databases is part of our standard practices to maintain a reliable environment.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

·       Communications about maintenance on PeopleSoft DEV and TST environments are delivered to the PeopleSoft distribution lists.

·       Communication about maintenance for PRD environments are routed through the TS Communications Listserv.

DHCP: Planned Maintenance 

Wednesday, November 14, 2018,  6:00 a.m.-6:30 a.m.

REASON FOR IMPACT: Technology Services is continuing to investigate an intermittent issue with our DHCP server which may prevent some users from connecting to a campus internet connection. As part of remediating this issue, Technology Services will be restarting the server on Wednesday morning.  

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

·         After the maintenance window, if you have difficulty connecting your device to a campus internet connection please wait a few minutes and try again. If waiting a few minutes does not resolve the issue please contact the TS Service Desk for additional support.

REASON FOR IMPACT: Technology Services is continuing to investigate an intermittent issue with our DHCP server. We have initiated a support call with Microsoft regarding our issue. In the meantime, we will continue to monitor the server and take action as needed to resolve any issues that develop.

·       You may occasionally be unable to access the network as a result of this issue. However, we are monitoring the server and if you do encounter a problem, please wait for a few minutes and try again.

DHCP: Login Issues (RESOLVED)

Monday, November 12, 2018 from 8:10 a.m. to 8:35 a.m.

REASON FOR IMPACT: Technology Services has resolved an issue with our DHCP server which was causing computer login issues for computers on campus. If you were experiencing issues logging on to your computer, please restart your computer and try again. The issue was caused by high CPU usage on our DHCP and our team is currently investigating the cause of this issue.
