[RESOLVED] PeopleSoft Campus and myPugetSound are back up and running.

Users have reported that they are experiencing issues logging into or running processes in myPugetSound and PeopleSoft Campus.

Pre-Production Server Patch Maintenance 06/22/2017 [Completed]
[Update 06/22/2017 6:00 PM] Our scheduled maintenance has been completed successfully.
[Original] Pre-Production Server Patch Maintenance is scheduled for Thursday, 06/22/2017, from 9 am. to 6 pm. This should NOT affect any production services such as email, individual and departmental file shares, database applications, or web services (Moodle, vDesk, etc.). Intermittent Outage Backup Internet for 6/30/2017
Our backup internet provider will be doing maintenance on 6/30/2017 from approximately 9 AM to 5 PM. This should not affect normal internet for the campus as this is only our backup internet link. However, if you are experiencing issues during this time please contact the Service Desk.

Brief K20 Internet Outage [RESOLVED]
There was a brief K20 internet outage that lasted about 10 minutes this morning from 4:50 am to 5:00 am. Everything appears to be restored and K20 our main internet provider is investigating the cause of the outage. We will update this post if there is any additional information.
File server access issue 06/03/2017 [Resolved]
[update 06/03/2017 1:15 PM] File services have been restored.
[original] We’re currently experiencing issues with the merlin2/stafffiles file server. We’re looking into the issue and expect to have it resolved shortly.
Campus Printing Issues 05/19/2017
TS is currently troubleshooting a network issue that has caused some campus printing problems (e.g. you receive a printing error or your computer shows the printer as “Offline” even though the printer itself is on and ready). We’re working to resolve this as quickly as possible. For more information please contact the Service Desk at 253-879-8585.
Campus Systems Unavailable Due to Scheduled Maintenance 05/21/2017 [completed]
[updated 05/21/2017 9:30 a.m.] Our scheduled maintenance has been completed.
[original] Production server patch maintenance is scheduled for Sunday, May 21st, from 3:00 a.m. until noon. During this time, all campus systems will be intermittently or entirely unavailable. Affected services include the university website, myPugetSound, PeopleSoft, Cascade, Moodle, campus file servers, and Exchange (email and calendar). An update will be posted once this maintenance is completed.

vDesk Outage – 05/12/17 [RESOLVED]
1:20p – The vDesk environment is available. Thank you for your patience.
10:23a – We are experiencing an issue with our vDesk environment that is preventing people from accessing any of the vDesk clients/ resources. We are working with the vendor to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. If you would like notification when vDesk is available again, please contact the Service Desk at 253-879-8585.
Network Maintenance – 05/03/2017
Network will be performing a quick network change in Wheelock’s attic at midnight tonight. There will be a short outage of about 5 minutes.
Telecom Upgrade – 05/02/2017 [Complete]
We will be making some configuration change on the telephone system starting at 6 PM on 05/02/2017. These changes will allow for Music on Hold to be played when a user is put on hold. All VOIP phones will reset unless you are on an active call. The resets will take about 30-45 seconds for each phone.
SafeConnect Access Issue – 05/01/2017 [Resolved]
Update: SafeConnect has been fully updated. Thank you for your patience.
Update: Per SafeConnect’s recommendation they are performing an additional upgrade. While this is happening access to the SafeConnect dashboard will be limited.
Update: The web service was unresponsive. SafeConnect restarted the web service and all is well now.
We are having issues accessing the SafeConnect administration page. The cause is unknown but may be related to the upgrade that took place on Friday.
