[Original Post] Members of the campus community have reported issues with PeopleSoft Financials and PeopleSoft HR this morning. We are receiving a “secure connection failed” error when trying to load PeopleSoft Financials, and a different error when trying to access Careers in PeopleSoft HR. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
Member of the campus community have reported that our Puget Sound account password synchronization process does not seem to be working. If you change your Puget Sound password in Cascade, it is not currently automatically syncing over to Webmail, PeopleSoft, myPugetSound, and other systems.
We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, if you reset your password in Cascade, please also manually reset it in Webmail (which will also sync over to PeopleSoft and myPugetSound). [Updated, Monday, May 18th] The upgrade to PeopleSoft Human Resources is now complete and the environment is now available for use at https://pshrms.pugetsound.edu or through myPugetSound.
[Original] Due to a scheduled upgrade, PeopleSoft Human Resources will be entirely unavailable from 8:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16 through 8:00 a.m. Monday, May 18. Links to Human Resources items in myPugetSound will not be displayed during this time frame.
Please note that PeopleSoft Campus and PeopleSoft Financials will be unaffected and can still be accessed through Cascade or myPugetSound. We appreciate your patience as we conduct this necessary work.
[Updated 1/28/2015, 9:21 p.m.] The patching was completed successfully and all affected environments are back online with the exception of Cascade DEV. Cascade DEV will remain unavailable until our refresh tomorrow.
[Original] In order to apply an emergency security patch, ALL PeopleSoft DEV and TST environments, as well as Cascade DEV and TST, will be unavailable tonight, January 28, from 6 to 10 p.m. An update will be posted once service has been restored.
Please note this outage will NOT affect the production systems which will remain available to end users as usual.

[Original Post] We are currently experiencing an issue with new connections to our PeopleSoft database. New connections (such as those required by batch jobs or reports) are currently producing errors. We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue.
The university’s PeopleSoft system was unavailable for approximately one hour from 7:25 to 8:25 p.m. This impacted Financials, Human Resources, Campus Solutions, and the Time Clock database. [Original Post] Password synchronization is currently not functional. Password changes made in Cascade will not carry over to other Puget Sound systems (email, PeopleSoft, vDesk, Moodle). We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible and apologize for the inconvenience.
[Update] Production Server Patch Maintenance has been completed.
[Original] The Production Server Patch Maintenance is scheduled for 8/11/2013. Most services may be intermittently or entirely unavailable, including: Email, Personal and departmental file shares (on Alexandria and Merlin2), Webservices such as www.pugetsound.edu, Mahara and Moodle, Print Services, and the Optimize HR Production servers and services.
