WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

  • Internet connections will switch a few times during the maintenance window to ensure the links to our internet service providers are all operational.

  • A brief outage of a minute or two can occur when switching internet connections. 

  • Security Services will remain reachable at (253) 879-3311 during this time.

SYSTEMS IMPACTED: 

  • Inbound and outbound internet access.

REASON FOR MAINTENANCE:

  • TS will be upgrading our secondary internet connection to match the speeds of our primary internet connection.

SYSTEMS IMPACTED: 

  • Facilities network (WiFi, Phones, Ethernet).

REASON FOR MAINTENANCE:

  • Technology Services will be restarting some of the network equipment in Facilities.

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

  • This outage will only affect the Facilities network. Other parts of campus will not be affected.

  • Outages will last for approximately 15 minutes.
