The members of the University of Puget Sound community who contribute regularly to Sound Economics:

Anny is a senior at UPS, from China, majoring in mathematics and economics, minoring in business. As an anime and manga fan, she also enjoys discussing media-related economic topics. Her favorite of this season is Vinland Saga season 2. Besides walking and jogging time, she spends leisure time on light music and chess.

Betina is a sophomore planning on majoring in economics. She wants to learn more about economics and how it connects to everyday things. She is interested in hospitality and tourism as well as psychology. She likes to spend her time traveling and exploring the area around her.

Elijah is a sophomore majoring in Economics and International Politcal Economy. He is interested in international politics and how cultural norms influence decision-making. Elijah also enjoys playing music, climbing, reading, and random side tangents.

Emma is a senior from Denver Colorado, graduating with a BA in Economics, minoring in Business Administration. Her research focuses on behavioral economics, sustainability, and urban development in the U.S. This fall, she is working on independent research pertaining to Housing Economics and plans to work for a real estate brokerage firm once she graduates.

Sound Economics has published contributions from economics faculty Wade Hands and Garrett Milam. Sound Economics is supervised by Andrew Monaco, Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Puget Sound.
