Thank you!

As we close out the semester here at the University of Puget Sound, I’d like to thank all those who have supported and contributed to Sound Economics in our inaugural year.

Thank you to the Economics Department, the Office of Educational Technology, and the University for helping to make this effort happen. Most of all, I’d like to thank the contributors to the blog: our student writers- Collin, Matthew, Nick, Ricky, Holly, Morgan, Tom, and Jared- who worked tirelessly to produce thoughtful and sharp articles throughout the year; our faculty contributors; and, finally, our readers and commenters, who kept the conversation going and engaged with what we had to say.

This year, Sound Economics had nearly 5,000 pageviews from visitors in 50 countries. We’ll work behind the scenes this summer to build our new team of writers for the upcoming 2014-15 academic year, develop new topics of exploration, and continue to share news and opportunities for economics students over that time. Interested potential writers can contact me at amonaco@pugetsound.edu to inquire about contributing next year.

We look forward to bringing you more everyday economic insights next year on Sound Economics!
