[Original Post] Members of the campus community have reported issues with PeopleSoft Financials and PeopleSoft HR this morning. We are receiving a “secure connection failed” error when trying to load PeopleSoft Financials, and a different error when trying to access Careers in PeopleSoft HR. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Internet unavailable Thursday 10/22/2015n 4:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. [Cancelled]

[Original] The internet service for campus will be unavailable from 4 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. as testing is performed on that link. This work is necessary to ensure optimal performance of the internet for the university.

Internet Unavailable 5-6 a.m. Thursday 10/15/2015 [Complete]

PeopleSoft Finance Intermittently Available Saturday, October 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. [Complete]

[Original] Due to scheduled maintenance, access to PeopleSoft Finance will be intermittent on Saturday, October 10th between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m for a PeopleSoft upgrade. We  will post an update when the work is completed. Thank you for your patience while we conduct this necessary work!

Pre-Production Server Patch Maintenance 10/11/2015 [Completed]

[Update 10/11/2015 8:25 AM] Our scheduled pre-production server patch maintenance has been completed successfully.

Pre-Production Server Patch Maintenance is scheduled for Sunday, 10/11/2015, from 3 a.m. to noon. This should NOT affect any production services such as email, individual and departmental file shares, database applications, or web services (Moodle, vDesk, etc.). Issues Printing to Lab Printers 9/29/2015 [Resolved]

[Original Post] Students have reported intermittent issues printing to lab printers. In some cases, printers are not appearing as available in print menu options from vDesk applications. We apologize for the inconvenience, and are investigating this issue to determine the root cause. Unable to Load External Websites in Wyatt 9/21/2015 [Resolved]

[Updated 11/19/2015 3:15 pm] After extensive research and troubleshooting, we believe we’ve identified a fix for this issue, and have put in in place. Early reports are that wired internet connectivity has been fine for Mac users in Wyatt (wireless and Windows wired users were unaffected). Thank you very much for your patience.

[Original Post] We have received reports that some individuals in Wyatt have been unable to load external websites (websites that aren’t hosted here on campus). They are able to reach internal (pugetsound.edu) websites without issue. We apologize for the inconvenience, and are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Internet Unavailable 5-6 a.m 9/17/2015 [Completed]

[Updated 5:36 a.m., 9/17] The icampus internet returned to service at about 5:20 a.m. Update work  is complete. We were successful in increasing the bandwidth on the connection to 5 Gbps.

[Original] The campus internet connection will be unavailable from 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. Thursday, 9/17 as we continue work begun last Friday morning  (see http://blogs.pugetsound.edu/tsmaintenance/?p=3503) to upgrade bandwidth from 1 to 5 Gbps.

Internet Unavailable Due to 5 Gbps Upgrade 4-6 a.m. 9/11/2015 [Complete]

[Update 6:27 a.m., 9/11/2015] Internet service was restored a 6:04 a.m. after an outage of 1 hour, 50 minutes. Due to issues with some non-Puget Sound equipment, the upgrade was cancelled, and Puget Sound’s internet bandwidth remains at 1 Gbps.

[Original] Campus internet service will be unavailable from 4-5 a.m. the morning of Friday, 9/11/2015 as we upgrade service from 1 Gbps to 5 Gbps. Service may also be sporadic from 5-6 a.m. The internet will resume normal operation by 6 a.m.

Campus Systems Unavailable Due to Scheduled Maintenance 9/13/2015 [Completed]

[Update 9/13/2015 10:35 AM] Our scheduled production server patch maintenance has been completed successfully.

[Original] Production server patch maintenance is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, from 3:00 a.m. until noon. During this time, all campus systems will be intermittently or entirely unavailable. Affected services include the university website, myPugetSound, PeopleSoft, Cascade, Moodle, campus file servers, and Exchange (email and calendar). An update will be posted once this maintenance is completed.

PeopleSoft Campus and myPugetSound Unavailable Saturday, September 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. [Completed]

[Update 9/5] The upgrade was completed successfully and both PeopleSoft Campus and myPugetSound are now available for use.

[Original] This is a reminder that PeopleSoft Campus and myPugetSound will be entirely unavailable between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5th in order to complete an upgrade to PeopleTools 8.54 and apply a new campus bundle. Please note that PeopleSoft Human Resources and PeopleSoft Financials will be unaffected and can still be accessed through Cascade.

[Complete] PeopleSoft HR Unavailable, myPugetSound Experiencing Intermittent Issues 8/27/2015 6:00p.m.

[Update] The issues with PeopleSoft Human Resources and myPugetSound have been resolved.
[Original] The PeopleSoft Human Resources system has locked up, and is currently not available.
This system unavailability also impacts myPugetsound, causing it to run slowly/not at all as it requires content that should be served from PeopleSoft Human Resources.
An update will be posted here when we have resolved the issue. Thank you.
