Tuesday, May 6 | 6:30 a.m. – 7 a.m. [CANCELED]

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

  • A brief outage of a minute or two can occur when switching internet connections.

  • After confirmation of a successful test, TS will switch back to the primary internet service provider. 

  • Security Services will remain reachable at (253) 879-3311 during this time.

SYSTEMS IMPACTED: 

  • Inbound and outbound internet access 

REASON FOR MAINTENANCE:

  • To prepare for an internet service provider upgrade, TS will be performing a test to failover from the university’s primary internet service provider to the secondary internet service provider.

REASON FOR MAINTENANCE:

  • The changes made to the Campus Wireless Network on Tuesday, March 18 were unsuccessful and were rolled back to the previous state.

  • To resolve the issues encountered, TS will be making changes to the Network Access Control system in the Library. All Wireless Networks in the Library will be unavailable during the maintenance window. 

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

  • Campus and Guest Access Wireless Networks in the Library will not be available during the maintenance window. 

  • Computers and other devices connected to the Wired Network will still have access.
