Network services including data, wireless and VOIP will be unavailable intermittingly for periods of 15-30 minutes.

UPDATE: K20 has informed us that the maintenance was completed as scheduled. The total down time was less than 10 minutes.
Our main internet provider will be doing an urgent configuration change tonight from 11 PM to 1 AM to address a software bug. The internet will be unavailable for periods of up to 5-10 minutes during this time.

Affected services include the university website, myPugetSound, PeopleSoft, Cascade, Moodle, campus file servers, and Exchange (email and calendar). Update: Our main Internet has been restored by our provider.
Our main internet provider K20 is doing maintenance that will cause intermittent disruptions to the internet from December 28th 8 PM to December 29th 2 AM. Access to VPN2 will also be intermittent during this time. However, all internal network access will be unaffected. Our secondary internet link will remain active. If there is a need to gain access to internal network resources please use VPN1.

Members of the campus community have reported that they’ve experienced difficulty logging into their Windows computers this morning. Symptoms include either being stuck at the “Welcome” or Ctrl Alt Delete screens. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to determine the cause of this issue as quickly as possible.

Network Services has restored network functionality to all campus buildings.

Network Services is aware of a partial campus outage and working toward resolving the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
Networking will be replacing some equipment between 4am and 6am on November 3rd, 2016. This work will cause intermittent network outages including data, wireless and phones.
