TS is currently troubleshooting a network issue that has caused some campus printing problems (e.g. you receive a printing error or your computer shows the printer as “Offline” even though the printer itself is on and ready). [original] Production server patch maintenance is scheduled for Sunday, May 21st, from 3:00 a.m. until noon. During this time, all campus systems will be intermittently or entirely unavailable. Affected services include the university website, myPugetSound, PeopleSoft, Cascade, Moodle, campus file servers, and Exchange (email and calendar). An update will be posted once this maintenance is completed.

1:20p – The vDesk environment is available. Thank you for your patience.
10:23a – We are experiencing an issue with our vDesk environment that is preventing people from accessing any of the vDesk clients/ resources. We are working with the vendor to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. If you would like notification when vDesk is available again, please contact the Service Desk at 253-879-8585.
Network will be performing a quick network change in Wheelock’s attic at midnight tonight. There will be a short outage of about 5 minutes.
We will be making some configuration change on the telephone system starting at 6 PM on 05/02/2017. These changes will allow for Music on Hold to be played when a user is put on hold. All VOIP phones will reset unless you are on an active call. The resets will take about 30-45 seconds for each phone.
Update: SafeConnect has been fully updated. Thank you for your patience.
Update: Per SafeConnect’s recommendation they are performing an additional upgrade. While this is happening access to the SafeConnect dashboard will be limited.
Update: The web service was unresponsive. SafeConnect restarted the web service and all is well now.
We are having issues accessing the SafeConnect administration page. The cause is unknown but may be related to the upgrade that took place on Friday.

There will be an upgrade taking place on our network security appliance SafeConnect. This maintenance will take place from 5:30am to 9:30am. There will be no impact while this maintenance is occurring.

[Original] Shibboleth is currently down. We expect to have it back up shortly and will post an update when it is back up.
Update: Network has been stable for the past few hours.
There appears to have been an intermittent network outage on the Second floor of Wheelock. Everything is back up and running and we’re currently investigating the cause.

[Update 03/26/2017 1:38 PM] PeopleSoft is fully back up. All services are online at this time. We’re continuing to do some work in the background which may cause minor performance issues this afternoon. An update will be posted when that work is complete.
