The start of a new academic year is a good time to take stock of where you are in your career development. Celebrate what you’ve accomplished (Yay, you!) and set your sights on the next goal (#totheheights!).

Here’s a quick list of activities that can contribute to your career development. Which ones have you already done? Which ones do you hope to achieve this year?

󠄀  Consider your interests and skills
󠄀  Volunteer in the community
󠄀  Apply for a part-time job or internship
󠄀  Attend a career-related event (Career Fair, ASK Night, Career Conversations, etc.)
󠄀  Draft your resume
󠄀  Create your LinkedIn profile
󠄀  Ask someone you know about their work
󠄀  Sign up for Take a Logger to Work (or another job-shadowing opportunity)
󠄀  Chat with a CES career advisor  ~It’s free, it’s non-judgmental, and it’s what we love to do!

If you’ve accomplished any of these, or plan to, visit the CES table during LogJam to collect a #totheheights fling ring! We’d love to celebrate with you and discuss ways to accomplish your next goals. CES is here for you!
