Someone keeps leaving banana peels all over the library. Although I realize it is difficult to slip on a banana with a carpet, they are smelly and a few are rotting. Please do not overlook them! Thanks.
We try very hard to keep our library free of detritus & messes, including banana peels, but if you notice something we’ve overlooked, please mention it to a staff person. That way, we can clean it up right away. However, we’ll keep an extra sharp eye out for banana peels in the future!
I found an entire banana on one of the microform filing cabinets. Don’t worry, I threw it away. Yet, I am deeply worried about these banana disposers.
Ick! Thanks very much for throwing that out. We are keeping a close eye out for any detritus, especially as people get distracted & hungry with the end of year rush, but we will keep a yet sharper eye out.
