1/27 – Rainier Downtime for SAN Migration
Cascade Web, Cascade, Banner, Famis and Millenium will be unavailable
Saturday, January 27th, from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m., for a planned upgrade.

January 24th – Internet Downtime
The university’s Internet connection will be unavailable for up to 30 minutes starting at 4:00 AM on Wednesday, January 24th. Our Internet provider, Electric Lightwave/Integra, must perform important but routine equipment upgrades during this time.
CRM Down 1/19
CRM experienced periodic outages the morning of January 19 through 1:30 pm. Information Services was notified of the problem at approximately 11:00 am and began troubleshooting. The cause was identified at 12:15 pm and a resolution implemented by approximately 1:15 pm. The system was fully functional by 2:00 pm.
The cause of the failure was due to uncompiled objects in the database, but the root issue that caused the objects to become invalid is unknown.
Banner Upgrade
Banner payroll was upgraded to 7.2.2 on 1/16/2007
1/11 Internet Connection Down Briefly Last Night
At approximately midnight last night, the University’s Internet connection was unavailable for 30-40 minutes, because of scheduled maintenance on our ISP’s routers.
Spam Filter End User Interface Unreliable
Due to hardware problems, the spam filter end user interface (the web system where University members check their spam quarantine contents) will be unreliable. Service has been engaged, and we hope to have a resolution today.

The Banner system, Banner Tools and the Budget Administration Web application will be unavailable Friday, January 5, at 6:00 p.m., through Monday, January 8, at 7:00 a.m., to allow time for a Banner upgrade.
