NETWORK: Intermittent Building Internet and Phone Outages

December 20, 2018 from 11:18 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.

REASON FOR IMPACT: During the timeframe indicated, Technology Services noticed that some network equipment in the Memorial Fieldhouse, Aquatics, Trimble and Thomas Hall lost power and experienced brief network and phone outages as a result. We do not have a cause for why our equipment lost power, though network and phones should all be available at this time.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

·       Windy and inclement weather may cause power outages in our area, which can impact our networking and computer equipment. Technology Services recommends that you save your computer work often.

Moodle: System Maintenance

Friday, December 7 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

REASON FOR IMPACT: Technology Services will be performing maintenance on Moodle (moodle.pugetsound.edu) during this window that will enable the use of Turnitin during the spring semester. TS anticipates that the outage for Moodle will be less than 5 minutes, although Moodle may be inaccessible for the full 15 minutes as needed.
