SCYLD was promoted to domain controller in ACADEMIA. The procedure went very smoothly. About one hour after promotion, the RID attributes on the primary controller were updated, and the problem was cleared.

(jturnley) After promotion of Scyld, a third DC was brought into the domain, ROCHEFORT. This should help alleviate any future probelms. In the future, any domain brought up with activity as high as the current ACADEMIA whould have no less than 3 Domain Controllers.
