Dear members of the Puget Sound community,

Technology Services (TS) has planned the following maintenance activities. Details on the maintenance being performed are available below:

Wireless and Wired Network: Patch Maintenance

Today, August 28 | 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

SYSTEMS IMPACTED:

  • SafeConnect (MetaAccess Network Access Control)

REASON FOR MAINTENANCE:

  • Technology Services will perform a reconfiguration of SafeConnect to mitigate intermittent connectivity issues, affecting the ability of some personal computing devices to connect to our campus network.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

  • During the maintenance window, authentication for WiFi and some wired networks will be unavailable, preventing any new device connections. However, sessions active prior to the start of the window should continue to function normally. If you lose connection or need to join the network, normal operation will resume once the maintenance is complete.

Thank you for your patience as we conduct this important work. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact the TS Service Desk.
