Featured Artist from the PSBA 5th Anniversary Book – MalPina Chan

It is hard to believe, but Puget Sound Book Artists is celebrating 5 years as an organization. In honor of this most auspicious occasion, members were asked to contribute a page to a 5th Anniversary book. Throughout the summer, we will be adding new images to showcase the 5th Year Celebration Book. The 5th year book project is coordinated by An Gates, PSBA Board member and lead curator of the 2015 exhibition team.

MalPina Chan“I was born in California and received my BFA from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. My work is a continuing investigation of the transitory nature of the human condition, our connection to each other and to the natural world. My portfolio includes works on paper, glass, mixed-media, and artist books. My other projects also include independent curatorial work, teaching workshops and lecturing.”
