Information about Recent Spoofed Phone Calls
Technology Services has received reports from campus members about receiving phone calls and voicemails that appear to come from the university but are actually spoofed spam calls. Though these types of calls can be quite intrusive, the best thing to do is to simply ignore them.

Transcript of Scam Call
This is a transcript of the robocall recently received by multiple campus members:
“…warrant against your name and your social security number for fraudulent activity. An arrest warrant has also been issued under your name for money laundering and the investigative team of our department is investigating you and your family. To get more information about your arrest warrant and case files from the United States government, you may press one for more information before we download your case into the courthouse. Thank you. Press one now.”
