Tips for Detection
- The sending email address is no-reply[@]legacybox[.]com.
- A legitimate automated system message generally would not contain three exclamation marks (!!!) in the subject line.
- Hovering over the link in the email reveals an obfuscated link that should arouse suspicion. Note that the actual URL versus the hyperlinked text do not match.
- Remember that webmail.pugetsound.edu is the correct website for accessing your Puget Sound email.
