SNOW DAY!!

That’s right, for the first time since I’ve been going to school up here at Puget Sound, it SNOWED LIKE CRAZY!

I’m from Southern California. I was a little excited.

By the time there was at least 2 inches, maybe 2.5, there were people all over the quad having snowball fights, building snowmen, and participating in general snowy merriment. Naturally, I met up with a bunch of friends and joined in the fun! Frozen fingers have never felt so welcome.

The snow stayed until the next morning too!

Soon, Tacoma locals gathered on campus to enjoy the wintery goodness with sleds and such. Students had their own way of sledding as well… using trays from the SUB! Perhaps not the most highly condoned behavior, but it was some serious fun. Can you blame us?
