SAACS Shirt Design!

Spring semester 2014 is here! I’m getting back into the swing of things, and that includes work. Other than blogging and making videos for Puget Sound’s website, I also work as a graphic designer for ASUPS on campus, that is, the Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound! My most recent assignment was to design a shirt for a club on campus: SAACS, Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society.

They jokingly refer to themselves as the “Thompson/Harned Residents” because they spend most of their time in those two (science!) buildings! As this is the case, they were looking for a design that featured the Oppenheimer Cafe, the all glass cafe in the courtyard of Thompson, and a student sleeping in the window with the moon above. I thought I’d share my two draft ideas while I worked!
