Today I Learned…

That one fantastic and forward thinking artist, Daniel Rozin, actually created a mirror using wooden blocks and a small movement-capturing camera! Here’s the video proof:

We watched this clip in the Digital Imaging class I’m taking this semester because it was an ideal example of how analog art and technology can work together to create something remarkable. In addition, I shared some websites from one of my favorite artists, RafaĆ«l Rozendaal. Mr. Rozendaal creates websites that act solely as a piece of artwork, as well as other analog artistic endeavors. Some of the websites allow user interaction, giving the art a whole new dimension. Pretty cool, huh? If nothing else, they’re certainly a fun way to take a break from studying! (And totally NOT procrastinate.)
