Notice – Ongoing Service Interruption due to Microsoft Azure Outage

Dear members of the Puget Sound community,

Technology Services (TS) is aware of ongoing issues affecting several cloud-hosted systems used by the campus community. The issues are the result of an Microsoft Azure outage that began on Oct. 29, 2025 at 9 a.m. Though the issues with many Azure services have been mitigated, some services continue to be impacted and are in the process of being restored. 

SYSTEMS IMPACTED: 

  • StarRez (Resident Life Housing Management System)

  • AudienceView Campus (University Ticketing)

  • KnowBe4 (Cybersecurity Awareness Training)

  • TouchNet (Student Payments)

  • Blackbaud (Donor Management System)

  • Okta (Campus Single Sign-On)

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

  • Most impacted systems are accessible and you may not experience any issues.

  • You may experience slower performance or limited functionality in impacted systems.
