Cloud 9 and a Lu’au

This past weekend, I spent my time watching my friends perform their hearts out!

On Friday evening, I went to see the show Cloud 9, a play set in England about a family with very interesting relationships among themselves and friends. It was a part of the Senior Theater Festival and starred one of my best friends and his luscious facial hair, Jordan Moeller ’15.

He played a hypocritical, strict, and diplomatic father in the first act, and then an adorable little British 3 year old girl in the second. It was a very interesting, funny, but interesting show.

The next night, I was offered tickets for Puget Sound’s Hu’i O Hawai’i (Hawaiin Club)’s 43rd annual Lu’au! I hadn’t gone last year, and it was so fun! They had dances from Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand’s Maoris, and more! I was able to go to the post show celebration, where they served DELICIOUS Hawaiian food, like pulled pork from the pig they roasted in a pit dug outside of the Todd/Phibbs dorm. Here are some pictures, I apologize for the fuzziness of the quality, but it was fun and good, I promise!
