Friday, the 9th, was LogJam–the annual gathering on Todd field to celebrate the start of a new year and provide an opportunity for students new and old to sign up for clubs. The field was flooded with people, and there was free Puget Sound swag everywhere. I’m actually quite bummed I didn’t make it in time to the ASUPS table to snag one of the free sweatshirts featuring an adorable design of Grizz (our mascot, who was parading around as well, by the way) by junior Leanne Gan.
Among the many tables and banners and students and flags, my friends found some fabulous photo cut outs to pose with.
As the festivities were coming to a close and the sun began to set, it was time for one final surprise: a dazzling fireworks show courtesy of ASUPS (the Associated Students of Puget Sound)! No better way to show off our school’s colors than by blasting them into the sky.
The show, and LogJam itself, were an awesome way to start the new year. Here’s the starting the year with a bang!
