I have come to realize that I, Olivia Perry, love donuts.
I have become Homer Simpson. I crave them and if one is in my sight, I have to eat it. It’s not my fault. In fact, I know the exact culprit, the source of my ailment:
Legendary Donuts.
It all started one day in the Piano Lounge of the Wheelock Student Center when I was introduced to these donuts. I got to try this glazed donut with glittery, bright pink frosting on it, called the Tinkerbell, and about died. Oh my gosh it was so good! What a glorious day!
After that, I realized: I love donuts. Nay, I am ADDICTED to donuts!
That may be dramatic, but I did go on St. Patrick’s day and purchase 13, including a special green donut.
How it works is that they have three levels of donuts:
Amateur: which include old fashioned, glaze, maple bars, cinnamon, ooo and chocolate glaze on a chocolate cake donut (YUM!)
Famous: This is wear it starts to get real fancy:
Captain Crunch: Vanilla glaze w/ Captain Crunch
Steve Urkel: Glazed sprinkled with nerds
Cookies and Cream: Vanilla glaze covered in crushed Oreo cookies
Albert Einstein: Smothered in chocolate covered w/ coconut
Black and Tan w/ Guiness Beer: We have replaced the water with beer to create a delicious, rich, malty cake doughnut
Charlie Brown: Chocolate cake smothered with peanut butter and drizzled w/chocolate
And now…
LEGENDARY:
Hot Cocoa: Covered in chocolate, filled w/ whipped crème and topped w/ marshmallows
Pig Pen: Chocolate glaze with chocolate cookie crumbs and gummy worm
Elvis: Peanut butter smothered all over and then topped w/ banana chips
Scarlet O’ Hara: Red velvet cake doughnut w/ dollop of creme cheese frosting and a dark chocolate cigarette
Oh, and there are so much more!
Heres the website with the menu and locations and EVERYTHING!
Now, a couple of pictures of some donuts I’ve had:
