NETWORK :<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/b>Firewall Firmware Maintenance<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

September 14th, 2021 5:30am – 7am<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

REASON FOR IMPACT<\/span>: <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

To ensure a secure, reliable computing environment TS will be completing routine <\/span>updates on our security appliances (Firewalls).<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>Both<\/span> of our firewalls require firmware update<\/span>s.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>Internet services and external access will be intermittent for short periods of time (<\/span>approximately 2-5 minutes<\/span> at a time) during the maintenance window.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>External <\/span>access to services such as VPN (Global Protect), vDesk access, university <\/span>hosted websites and <\/span>university resources will be intermittent for short periods.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>Internal <\/span>on-campus services such as phones, the data network and access to university resources will not be affected on campus<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>Thank you for your patience as we conduct this important work.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
