NETWORK: <\/span><\/span><\/b>Library Network Maintenance <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

July 8th<\/sup>, 2020 – 1:30pm <\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

SYSTEMS IMPACTED:  <\/span>All <\/span>ne<\/span>twork services will be impacted in Library including VOIP and Wireless.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

REASON FOR IMPACT: <\/span>We are still experiencing issues with devices going offline that require power over Ethernet (POE) such as Access points for wireless.  This maintenance will cause intermittent downtime to all network services and Internet access.  Unfortunately we need to do this work during the day as there are some unresponsive switches and we are attempting to get those areas back online.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

In the event that we have a longer than anticipated outage, we will send out an update.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

All network services including phones\/VOIP, <\/span>remoting into computers or accessing resources (ie cameras<\/span>) in Library via <\/span>the VPN or from other areas on campus will not function<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
