Server\/Network Battery System: <\/span><\/span><\/b>System replacement<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Saturday, December 7 @ 7 a.m. – Monday December 9 @ 5 p.m.<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

REASON FOR IMPACT: To ensure a reliable computing environment Technology Services will be replacing half of our primary battery backup systems that support our core server and network infrastructure.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>There will be a period of approximately 10 minutes around 7 a.m. Saturday where new users accessing the network will not be allowed on as one of the network support systems reboots.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

·         <\/span><\/span><\/span>No downtime is expected for other systems as all systems have redundant power paths.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
