{"id":353,"date":"2008-04-08T09:07:17","date_gmt":"2008-04-08T17:07:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/TSmaintenance\/?p=353"},"modified":"2008-04-08T09:07:17","modified_gmt":"2008-04-08T17:07:17","slug":"april-1-april-7-listserv-delivery-problems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/tsmaintenance\/2008\/04\/08\/april-1-april-7-listserv-delivery-problems\/","title":{"rendered":"April 1 &#8211; April 7 listserv Delivery Problems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Beginning April 1st, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gnu.org\/software\/mailman\/index.html\">Mailman<\/a>\u00a0 listservs started failing to deliver messages to their membership.\u00a0 This happened because one of the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/DNSBL\">real-time blackhole<\/a> lists that Mailman was subscribed to went out of service permanently, causing Mailman&#8217;s mail server (<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sendmail\">sendmail<\/a>) to reject all messages outgoing to the list memberships.
