A separate notification will be posted prior to the Monthly Patch Window.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday the 17th of November from 7:00 AM \u2013 9:00 AM most pre-production servers are to be patched, to exclude all DST related servers. This means that most test systems may be intermittently or entirely unavailable during this time. Most users will not be impacted, as most users do not have access to preproduction servers.<\/p>\n<p>This should not affect any production services such as:<\/p>\n<p>Email<br \/>\nPersonal and departmental file shares (on Alexandria and Merlin2)<br \/>\nDatabase applications: Cascade, FAMIS, Millennium, and Banner<br \/>\nWeb services such as www.pugetsound.edu, cs.pugetsound.edu, and Moodle<br \/>\nPrint Services<br \/>\nvDesk<\/p>\n<p>A follow up email and update to the blog will be posted once Pre-Production Patch Maintenance has been completed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[Completed] the next scheduled patch maintenance window is Sunday the 27th of November 2011 from 8 am to 12 pm, this is a Monthly Patch window.
