{"id":1878,"date":"2011-02-07T09:53:24","date_gmt":"2011-02-07T17:53:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/TSmaintenance\/?p=1878"},"modified":"2011-02-07T09:53:24","modified_gmt":"2011-02-07T17:53:24","slug":"1878","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/tsmaintenance\/2011\/02\/07\/1878\/","title":{"rendered":"Scheduled Maintenance on Core Router"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I will be upgrading the IOS on our Core Router (Cisco 6905) at 5:00am tomorrow morning (Tuesday Feb 8<sup>th<\/sup>).<\/p>\n<p>The upgrade is to enable a new 10GB interface slot card.<\/p>\n<p>All preparations are already in place, so I expect the downtimes to be short (5-10min each) and intermittent between 5:00-6:00am.<\/p>\n<p>During the downtimes, all inter network-connectivity will be disabled.\u00a0 There will be no access to any services or resources during this time.<\/p>\n<p>This will include but not limited to: email, internet, databases, VPN, etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I will be upgrading the IOS on our Core Router (Cisco 6905) at 5:00am tomorrow morning (Tuesday Feb 8th).
