Everything&#8217;s such a wild card! When there are more errors and mistakes I think the game is more enjoyable for me to watch. You never know what&#8217;s gonna happen next. The Kaohsiung team is the\u00a0<em>La New Bears<\/em>, La New is the shoe brand that is their major sponsor, and their caps look like a bull skull, but it&#8217;s a pair of shoes, with horns. The team they were playing is the most popular team in Taiwan, the Taipei\u00a0<em>Brothers Elephants.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1004\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1004\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1004\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/studyingabroad\/files\/2010\/09\/DSC00799-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Drum line\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/studyingabroad\/files\/2010\/09\/DSC00799-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/studyingabroad\/files\/2010\/09\/DSC00799-624x418.jpg 624w, https:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/studyingabroad\/files\/2010\/09\/DSC00799.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1004\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Drum line<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Sadly, the game got rained out halfway through the second inning, you know, typhoon season and all. But the short time I was there it was wholly enjoyable. The stadium was split into pretty even fan bases, decked out with their green clappers\/horns, for the Bears, or yellow for the Elephants.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1007\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1007\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1007\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/studyingabroad\/files\/2010\/09\/DSC00809-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Hit!\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/studyingabroad\/files\/2010\/09\/DSC00809-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/studyingabroad\/files\/2010\/09\/DSC00809-624x418.jpg 624w, https:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/studyingabroad\/files\/2010\/09\/DSC00809.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1007\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hit!<\/p><\/div>\n<p>There is a drum line above each dugout. When that team is batting, the drummers lead audience wide cheers, encouraging their boys to victory, while the whole audience simultaneously claps their cones, or waves them towards the field.
