World Water Day

Puget Sound is joining World Water Day along with over 600 other water related events thatTap That Poster highlight the need to conserve clean fresh water. Puget Sound introduced the Why Bottled Water campaign this spring in a campus-wide effort to promote tap water consumption and decreased single-use plastic bottles. In doing so, the Diner offers water bottles labeled “Why Bottled Water” to open bring awareness to the community about their purchasing. Instead, the community is encouraged to “Tap That” and reuse water bottles.

Over five minutes, the film explores the bottled water industries attacks on tap water and its use of seductive, environmental-themed advertising to cover up the mountains of plastic waste it produces.
