People are starting to block handicap ramp because there&#8217;s no room for bikes.  Let&#8217;s be sustainable!  Thanks!<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Need my space for bikes!!!<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>More bike racks, please.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>More places to lock bikes!!!<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Please get bike rack &#8211; bikes on ramp preclude wheelchair and walkers w\/ rolling bags<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We heard a lot of concern about bicycle parking from a variety of worthy angles&#8211;sustainability, accessibility, people who just want their bikes to be there when they get back.<\/p>\n<p>We agree completely, and are happy to announce that Facilities has installed a new phalanx of bike racks near the library. In addition to the previously installed bike racks just next to the library&#8217;s entry ramp, there are now bike racks on the east side of the doorway, close to the ramp leading to the library and quad from the parking lots.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully these will give everyone space to park, and help keep the ramps accessible to everyone. The library and campus security take accessibility seriously, so please don&#8217;t lock your bikes to ramps or hand rails.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to Facilities for installing the racks we needed, and thanks to all of you for telling us what we needed!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Need more Bike Parking MORE BIKE LOCKS!!!
