It seems like that would be simple enough.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Alas, &#8216;seems&#8217; is a very appropriate word. The complexities of books, plumbing, and wiring is apparently more like complexity\u00b3, rather than the comparatively manageable complexity x 3.\u00a0 We are continuing to work on this, and will keep you updated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here is an update from the library director, Jane Carlin:<\/p>\n<p><strong>We are getting a hot water tap downstairs and work should begin by early February 2010.\u00a0 The drinking fountain near the copy room in the basement will be modified to be a hot water tap, along with a work surface providing instant hot water for cocoa and tea!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Can we at least get a hot water heater so we can make tea, etc. while at library?
