Pay off your library fines with food instead of cash, November 15-28. Donate to a worthy cause AND clean up your library debt at the same time.<strong><em> Bring in 1 can of food and we will waive $1.00 of your library fines.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s right!  $1 per can!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One \u2013 6 ounce can or larger = $1.00 of fines. (up to $20 waived)<\/li>\n<li>Bring cans to the Circulation Desk on the main floor of the library.<\/li>\n<li>Only non-perishable, un-dented, and labeled cans will be accepted.<\/li>\n<li>(Additional donations are welcome.)<\/li>\n<li>Canned food accepted for fines on returned items only,<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>(not for replacement fees of lost items.)<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All canned food will be donated to local food banks.<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/alacarte.pugetsound.edu\/subject-guide\/26-Food-for-Fines-Hunger-in-the-U-S-\"><br \/>\nHunger Week alacarte link<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In support of National Hunger Week, Collins Memorial Library and Spirituality, Services, and Social Justice are co-sponsoring Food for Fines.
