  • The sender is attempting to impersonate a cabinet member at the university by manipulating the display name. However, notice that the email address is not an @pugetsound.edu address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Beware of offers that are too good to be true. Scammers frequently purport to give away valuable items such as cameras or instruments or tools along with a believable story. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • With this type of phishing, the scammer typically corresponds with you then eventually asks you to send payment for alleged delivery or shipping via Venmo or Zelle or Paypal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

These tools are now available to members of University of Puget Sound who may find them useful for academic, vocational, or personal projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    All tools, especially the welding equipment, are in excellent, near-new condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
