\"court1\"<\/a>On Wednesday, September 18th, there will be a panel discussion with several of the Washington State Supreme Court Justices and others on the topic of \u201cLegal Issues in Diversity.\u201d\u00a0 The justices are expected to explore some recent controversial legal issues, including recent supreme court rulings on same-sex marriage<\/a> (second opinion<\/a>) and affirmative action in college admissions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, September 19th, the Washington State Supreme Court will hold a public hearing of three state court cases on campus.<\/p>\n
