Shot right before the uprising in Syria erupted, <\/i>The Light in Her Eyes<i> offers an extraordinary portrait of a leader who challenges the women of her community to live according to Islam, without giving up their dreams.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Collins Memorial Library at the University of Puget Sound will be hosting a film screening and discussion of <i>The Light in Her Eyes<\/i> in partnership with the Sundance Institute\u2019s FILM FORWARD, the Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound, and the University of Puget Sound\u2019s Gender Studies and Sociology and Anthropology Departments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0Meet Julia Meltzer, director of The Light in Her Eyes, and enjoy the Muslim Journeys Bookshelf and Book Art Exhibit, &#8220;Al-Mutanabbi Street.&#8221; The event is free and open to the public.
