Don\u2019t worry \u2013 Join the Long Night Against Procrastination"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/collinsunbound\/files\/2012\/02\/procrastination.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2511 alignleft\" style=\"margin-left: 8px;margin-right: 8px\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/collinsunbound\/files\/2012\/02\/procrastination-300x214.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"254\" height=\"181\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/collinsunbound\/files\/2012\/02\/procrastination-300x214.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/collinsunbound\/files\/2012\/02\/procrastination.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 254px) 100vw, 254px\" \/><\/a>In solidarity with writing centers in Germany, Puget Sound&#8217;s Center for Writing, Learning, and Teaching (CWLT) will be one of two universities from the US participating in the <strong>Long Night Against Procrastination, on<\/strong> <strong>March 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pugetsound.edu\/academics\/academic-resources\/cwlt\/events\/\">Long Night event<\/a> is designed to help confront those writing tasks we have been procrastinating: papers, grant proposals, homework, and more (we all know what our own specifics are). This event began in Germany in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>At the CWLT, the <strong>celebration launches at 3:00 p.m. <\/strong>(German midnight) with German treats, public declarations of non-procrastination, and live interaction with writing centers in Germany. <strong>From 4:00 p.m.-midnight<\/strong>, they will be holding regularly scheduled tutoring appointments and writing conferences, and also have special space set aside for those who want uninterrupted time to write quietly, eat some snacks, and stop procrastinating!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In solidarity with writing centers in Germany, Puget Sound&#8217;s Center for Writing, Learning, and Teaching (CWLT) will be one of two universities from the US participating in the Long Night Against Procrastination, on March 1.
