Here you\u2019ll find a plethora of information about libraries and librarians, including: types of libraries, jobs in libraries, characteristics librarians share, educational requirements, earnings and outlook of the profession, and more!<\/p>\n<p>Search LinkedIn and the <b>Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK) Network <\/b>group for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pugetsound.edu\/about\/offices-services\/ces\/students\/connecting-with-alumni\/\" target=\"_blank\">Puget Sound alumni<\/a> who\u2019ve pursued careers in the field. Many of them have held library jobs outside of Puget Sound, so can provide perspectives about other library settings.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>The Collins Library staff hold a career information night each spring.
