We\u2019re more likely to get our morning news from social media or online news than a newspaper, we send more text messages and emails than we send letters via the postal service, and when we have a question, the answer is often just a quick Google search away.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technology is more than just programming and infrastructure\u2014even for people not studying Computer Science, the tech industry is filled with job opportunities in a wide variety of roles.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Attend the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pugetsound.edu\/about\/offices-services\/ces\/career-events\/career-fair\/\">Career Fair<\/a> on February 20 from 4:30-6:30 in Marshall Hall, to meet up with some tech <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pugetsound.edu\/about\/offices-services\/ces\/career-events\/career-fair\/participants\/\">companies<\/a> that are actively recruiting Puget Sound students!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/cesblogs\/files\/2014\/02\/surveymonkey.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3582 alignnone\" title=\"SurveyMonkey\/EstudioMono?\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/cesblogs\/files\/2014\/02\/surveymonkey.jpg\" alt=\"SurveyMonkey logo\" width=\"480\" height=\"99\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/cesblogs\/files\/2014\/02\/surveymonkey.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/blogs.pugetsound.edu\/cesblogs\/files\/2014\/02\/surveymonkey-300x62.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a>Ever taken an online survey? With more than two million survey responses gathered every day, they handle massive amounts of data for everyone from the largest Fortune 500 companies to academic researchers.<\/p>\n<p>While SurveyMonkey is a tech company with engineering jobs available, they\u2019re eagerly seeking liberal arts students with strong writing skills to fill <a href=\"https:\/\/pugetsound-csm.symplicity.com\/students\/index.php?mode=form&amp;id=3a325f88b982a72990d7ee6f3a558366&amp;s=jobs&amp;ss=jobs\">customer engagement roles<\/a>, including <a href=\"https:\/\/pugetsound-csm.symplicity.com\/students\/index.php?mode=form&amp;id=1d846a06e8f8df473742f6db83573b50&amp;s=jobs&amp;ss=jobs\">Spanish speakers<\/a>.
