Wrote this one as a draft back when I was brainstorming for the assignment I wrote the other one for! A little more somber, and I&#8217;m not quite as fond of this one as the other, but here it is.<\/p>\n<p><em>Untitled<\/em><\/p>\n<p>How strange the still and silent life<br \/>\nhidden in the Cimmerian shade of night.<br \/>\nCasting shadows of murk and myth<br \/>\nby light of her pallid, wintry face.<br \/>\nCloaked in quiet<br \/>\nobscure, yet understanding,<br \/>\nshe floods her lonely kingdom<br \/>\nwith gentle, forgiving light<br \/>\nand meets my gaze<br \/>\nwith unseeing ivory eyes.<br \/>\nI find solace in her silence<br \/>\nMade whole by the assuring nod<br \/>\nof the motionless moon in the night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s another quick nature poem.
