<\/a>From the top floor of Left Bank Books<\/p><\/div>\n
This book store is not like other book stores. It’s full of zines and books about social justice and posters of things that I don’t even know what they are! It holds great sentiment to me, because it was one of the first places I went on my very first trip to the Pacific Northwest. I remember I had bought a book from there for a project that I was doing on race and identity, a book that was easy to find because they have a section up against a wall labeled along the lines of “race and ethnicity”. I could hang out in there forever, but, it’s pretty small, so I don’t.<\/p>\n
After a bout in the book store, we walked over to Urban Outfitters so that I could use up a gift card before we made our way to a paper store called Paper Hammer, that was awesome! It was basically a printmakers dream, and my housemate Andrea was in love, seeing as that’s her major! Here’s their website to look at the kind of things they sell:<\/p>\n

After Paper Hammer, we found ourselves famished from walking around. We couldn’t decide until Andrea said “We’re right by Biscuit Bitch!”<\/p>\n
Yes, Biscuit Bitch.<\/p>\n
But this place, this establishment built on biscuits and gravy, provided me with one of the best meals that I’ve had in a very long time.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n I felt like I could eat a horse, but afterwards, I thought that I would good for days! I ordered the Gritty Scrambled Cheesy Bitch with sausage gravy and two slabs of ham added. Oh my gosh, just thinking about it is making my mouth water. But so, this meal, it was biscuits with the sausage gravy that was topped with scrambled eggs, cheese, and garlic grits. I wanted some meat, and I that ordering ham would be sensible, until the guy cooking said “Oh, these are some of the thickest slices of ham” and dropped the monster in front of me. Accompanied with lemonade, it was the best biscuits and gravy I have ever experienced, I mean, that one can on the west coast.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n My meal at Biscuit Bitch<\/p><\/div>\n We met up with two more friends, who also ordered colossal meals, and then went back to Pike’s. We founds ourselves in Post Alley with the world famous gum wall.<\/p>\n My first trip to Seattle with friends freshman year, here are Jordan and I and our chewed gum<\/p><\/div>\n We threw some gum at the wall, but could only take all of the germs, we went to the underbelly of the market and went to random little shops. Andrea even got her fortune read by a psychic that could have been right out of the Tom Hanks film\u00a0Big.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n eh, close enough.<\/p>\n We then went to Pikes Brewery so that our 21 year old friends could drink a beer and we waited patiently outside, just wasting time for the meter to run up it’s time.
