Stahr\u2019s decline at the hands of \u2018new Hollywood\u2019, a more businesslike, investment-style environment is chronicled, as well as his young death. At 44, just after writing the first part of Chapter 6, Fitzgerald died of a heart attack. His notes and the completed portion of the book were published eventually. The <a href=\"http:\/\/simon.ups.edu\/record=b1346262%7ES0\">current critical edition<\/a> was released in 1993.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1941: The Last Tycoon Author: F.
