Campus Systems Unavailable Due to Scheduled Maintenance 07/10/2016 [completed]

[update 07/10/2016 12:45 p.m.] The single sign on component of Cascade has been finished.

This concludes our planned patch maintenance and database migration for this weekend.

[update 07/10/2016 11:55 a.m.] We’re nearly complete with our work except for the single sign on component in Cascade is still outstanding. This will only affect users attempting to log into Cascade via the web. The other back-end processes in Cascade are verified operational.

Our database migration to the new storage array was successful and PeopleSoft is fully operational.

The rest of our production systems have been successfully patched.

An update will be made when the single sign on component has been fixed. This is expected to be resolved this afternoon.

[Update 1/10/2015 9:00 PM] We have nearly completed our production patch maintenance.  All systems have been fully patched as of 11:40 AM except for one portion of Exchange (our email and calendar system).  We expect to have that portion finished up tomorrow.  We do not expect that it will have any impact on end users. Puget Sound Web Services Disrupted 10/15/14 [Resolved]

[Resolved] The university’s website and blogs server were unavailable this morning between 1:00 and 7:00 a.m. due to an unexpected outage. Service has now been restored. Web server emergency maintenance 08/18/2014 at 9:00 PM [completed]

[Updated 9:11 PM 08/18/2014] Our maintenance on the web server has been completed.

[Original post] At 9:00 PM on 08/18/2014 we will be performing emergency maintenance on the main web server that may result in unavailability of the Puget Sound web site, http://pugetsound.edu. This maintenance window is expected to last approximately 10 minutes.

[Original Post] A scheduled outage is planned on Wednesday, May 8, from 5:00 to 5:30 a.m. for the K-20 Internet connection provided in academic and administrative buildings. Campus residences will not be affected. We anticipate the disruption in service will last approximately 5 minutes during this outage window.
