TS Outage Update: PeopleSoft Planned Refreshes – DEV and TST Complete

This is an announcement from Technology Services about scheduled PeopleSoft Maintenance .

PeopleSoft Maintenance: Refreshes for all pillars are complete. 

  • All PeopleSoft DEV environments:
    • PA91DEV, CS90DEV, FN92DEV, HR92DEV
  • All PeopleSoft TST environments:
    • PA91TST, CS90TST, FN92TST, HR92TST

Thank you for your patience during the refreshes.

TS Planned Outage Alert {PeopleSoft Financials} – Complete

This is an update from Technology Services that the following system is updated and available online.
WHAT:  PeopleSoft Financials was taken offline for an upgrade this weekend and are now available for use.  Links to Financials items in myPugetSound are restored.
WHY:  Technology Services upgraded these environments with a new version of PeopleTools. PeopleTools is the foundation which supports the PeopleSoft application modules. One can think of it as similar to the IOS of an iPhone.
NOTE TO USERS: Users should clear their browser’s cache before continuing work.
Steps for clearing browser cache:
Firefox
1.       Choose the History menu (top left) and select Clear Recent History
2.       From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, choose Everything
3.       In the Details down arrow, choose the items you would like to clear
4.       Click Clear Now
5.       Quit/close all browser windows and re-open
 
Chrome
1.       In the address bar type: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
2.       Select Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site and plug-in data, and Cached images and files
3.       From the Obliterate the following items from: drop-down menu, choose the beginning of time
4.       Click Clear browsing data
5.       Quit/close all browser windows and re-open
 
Internet Explorer
1.       Select Tools (gear icon) > Safety > Delete browsing history…
2.       Select temporary internet files and website files, Cookies and website data, and History
3.       Click Delete
4.       Quit/Close all browser windows and re-open
 
Safari
1.       From the Safari menu (top left), select Clear History and Website Data…
2.       Select the desired time range and click Clear History
3.       Go to Safari Quit Safari to exit out of the browser completely and then re-open

PeopleSoft Maintenance: Refreshes {All PS Pillars}

This is an announcement from Technology Services about upcoming scheduled PeopleSoft outages. Please see details below.

PeopleSoft Maintenance: Refreshes for all pillars are scheduled for the following dates.  

  • Tuesday, January 31, 2017:
    • All PeopleSoft DEV environments will be unavailable.
    • PA91DEV, CS90DEV, FN92DEV, HR92DEV
  • Wednesday, February 1, 2017:
    • All PeopleSoft TST environments will be unavailable.
    • PA91TST, CS90TST, FN92TST, HR92TST
  • TS will communicate once each batch of refreshes are complete.

As a reminder, myPugetSound/Portal & PeopleSoft Campus will be down this weekend and we will communicate once the upgrade is complete.

  • Start: Saturday, January 28th @ 7am
  • Estimated Completion: Sunday January 29th @ 9pm
    • NOTE: These systems may be intermittently unavailable Monday, January 30 during Day 1 support.
  • Services Impacted:
    • PeopleSoft PRD Campus (CS90PRD)
    • PeopleSoft PRD mypugetsound/Portal (PA91PRD)

PeopleSoft Campus and Portal Intermittently Unavailable Saturday, November 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. [Complete]

Update complete as of 9:35am on November 19, 2016.

Due to scheduled maintenance, access to PeopleSoft Campus and Portal will be intermittent on Saturday, November 19th starting at 8:00 a.m. for a PeopleSoft update.

We will post an update when the work is completed. Thank you for your patience while we conduct this necessary work!
